Vet check

 

It's time to conduct the Vet check!

If you don’t have preference for the vet, we can provide you with a list of veterinarians we regularly work with, who are very thorough and Professional and the entire clinical examination will be recorded and photographed.

After the vet check is complete, we will send you the PPE inform, X-ray images, and any other relevant information. The report and x-rays will be sent via email, ensuring that you can review it at your convenience.

Additionally, the PPE report will be written in the buyer's preferred language.

We understand that this process can be overwhelming, especially for first-time buyers, which is why we also offer expert consultations to discuss the findings in detail. Our team is available to guide you through the results, help you understand the implications, and answer any questions you may have. This added support ensures that you can make an informed decision with complete confidence.

 

How much does the vet check cost and what does the PPE include?

The costs of the vet check may vary depending on the area and the vet. 

But approximately each x-ray costs €20/30, clinical exam €200/300 and basic piro test €150

 

The clinical exam Included:


- General Health Check ( Evaluation of the horse's overall health, including body condition, weight, teeth and general appearance)

 

- Vital Signs (  measure heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, and mucous membranes to assess basic health parameters)

 

- Musculoskeletal Evaluation ( Assessment of the horse's limbs, joints, and muscles for any signs of lameness, stiffness, or abnormalities)

 

-Cardiovascular Examination (Checking the heart and lung sounds to ensure proper functioning of the cardiovascular system)

 

- Exam on motion ( walk and trot in hard surface. Walk, trot and canter in soft surface)

 

- Flexion test

Can I gelded a stallion before exporting it? And how much does it cost

Of course! you can gelded a stallion before exporting it. In fact, most of our clients from the USA and Canada often choose to do so ( Since the cost of transportation for an gelding is cheaper than a stallion).

The cost of gelded depends of the area and vet but approximately €200/€300€

Can I attend the vet check in person?

Of course, you are welcome to attend the vet check in person to see the examination firsthand. And If you are unable to attend, we can go.
